You are made to represent Jesus with bold, passionate, divine authority!

We offer experiences and resources to help Christians freely represent Jesus to the world as Christ's Ambassadors.

How can we represent Jesus to the world when we are withdrawing from it?

PopCR is a light in a culture that is desperate for direction and inspiration. The show confronts commonly held generic boundaries of film and media and flips them upside down. The show challenges listeners to see the media they consume differently with a more critical lens. And, most importantly, PopCR encourages listeners to be boldly curious.

[Pop Culture Redemption is] a safe space.  Each episode has different viewpoints yet there's no hostility.  Just listening and honest engagement.

Like a lot of Christians, I was raised with a very "sacred/secular" divide firmly in place. In many ways, I was told there was no way for God or anything redemptive to be in present in the arts and media of secular culture. The PopCR team opened the door to a forum where people like myself can discuss and wrestle through what it means to be "in the world and not of it", while bearing witness for the Kingdom of God.

We are a team of people who understand how it feels to be concerned about the world's influence on us and the questions that come up along the way. We understand it's easy to feel guilty, or even dirty, for associating with Popular Culture. This underlying fear can be isolating and overwhelming.

We are here to come alongside you and give you a space where questions are welcome and conversations are encouraged so that we can build confidence together to move forward as Christ’s Ambassadors to the world!

When we engage with the world, we must do so through 3 spiritual lenses:

Rejoice

Rejoice in what is good and true, for all truth is God's truth

Reject

Reject what is not true, for we have an Enemy who will deceive us

Redeem

Redeem the parts of pop culture that point to the Gospel of Jesus
