You are meant to represent Jesus with bold, passionate, divine authority!

Overcoming fear alone can be overwhelming and isolating. Come walk with us on the journey of learning how to be "in the world and not of it" while being representatives of Christ for those who don't know Him yet!

How can we represent Jesus to the world when we are hiding from it?

If Jesus could touch the leper without being made unclean, then we can engage the world with the same confidence

Pop Culture Redemption is a community boldly standing in the gap, where questions are welcome and conversations are encouraged

PopCR is a light in a culture that is desperate for direction and inspiration. The show confronts commonly held generic boundaries of film and media and flips them upside down. The show challenges listeners to see the media they consume differently with a more critical lens. And, most importantly, PopCR encourages listeners to be boldly curious.

[Pop Culture Redemption is] a safe space.  Each episode has different viewpoints yet there's no hostility.  Just listening and honest engagement.

Like a lot of Christians, I was raised with a very "sacred/secular" divide firmly in place. In many ways, I was told there was no way for God or anything redemptive to be in present in the arts and media of secular culture. The PopCR team opened the door to a forum where people like myself can discuss and wrestle through what it means to be "in the world and not of it", while bearing witness for the Kingdom of God.

We don't want you to be stuck in the cycle of isolation and perfectionism anymore! You should be able to walk away from fear and into community to experience what it's like when we come together in authenticity as we redeem pop culture for the Gospel!

Join us on the journey of living into the bold, passionate, and divine authority given to us by the Holy Spirit as we represent Jesus to the world!

When we engage with the world, we must do so through 3 spiritual lenses:

Rejoice

Rejoice in what is good and true, for all truth is God's truth

Reject

Reject what is not true, for we have an Enemy who will deceive us

Redeem

Redeem the parts of pop culture that point to the Gospel of Jesus
